2010 SCHOLARSHIP WINNERS

The Greater Watertown Federal Credit Union awarded three $500 scholarships in memory of Harlan Fisher, Ralph Baril and Walter Lemay.  The first scholarship was awarded to Nicole Adam of Watertown. Nicole is attending Springfield College where she is working toward a degree in Psychology. Her goal is to become an occupational therapist working with children. The second scholarship was granted to Latoyia Gallimore of New Haven. Latoyia is attending Gateway Community College and is working toward a degree in Human Services. Upon completion she plans to attend Southern Connecticut University so she can be trained as a social worker and one day work for the Department of Children and Family. The third scholarship was awarded to Thomas Frenette of Oakville. Having just graduated from Watertown High School, Thomas will be attending Southern Connecticut State University in the fall where he’ll pursue a degree in video production. He hopes to one day land his dream job working for ESPN.

Congratulations to our three winners and a special thanks to all those that submitted an application.
