Christmas Clubs

All members that have a Christmas Club account with the credit union will find that their account balances will  transfer to regular shares on October 14th. You may come to the credit union to withdraw these funds, make a transfer to your share draft checking using the 24 hour audio response service (860-945-8020), make a transfer using the free Internet banking service or instruct us to send you a check by contacting the credit union.

All members that do not have a Christmas Club account but would like one can set up an account simply by emailing us at members@GreaterWatertown.com or by giving us a call at 860-945-0611, ext 15, 16, or 18.

Christmas Clubs are accounts that members may deposit to weekly, monthly or quarterly for the purpose of accumulating some extra cash for the holidays. Deposits may be done through payroll deduction, over-the-counter, direct deposit or by mail. The balance of your club account is automatically transferred to your Regular Shares on the 2nd Tuesday of October. There are no fees or costs to establish a club account, however, members will be assessed a fee if they do a withdrawal from the account other than the annual transfer conducted on the 2nd Tuesday of October.
